Atorvastatin use in bronchiectasis paper

NEW PAPER

Our latest paper, from Pallavi Bedi, in collaboration with Professors Adam Hill and Adriano Rossi, is now published in the Journal Chest. This proof of concept study demonstrates that atorvastatin can be used to reduced systemic inflammation and improve quality of life in bronchiectasis patients infected with the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The research suggests that these effects may be due to an ability of atorvastatin to modulate neutrophil activation.
