Defensin immunomodulation paper out


Our latest paper, in collaboration with Prof. Julia Dorin and colleagues is now published in PLoS Genetics, characterising the immumnomodulatory properties of human beta-defensin-3; modifying the response of immune cells to the viral molecular pattern mimic Polyinosinic:Polycytidylic acid, by exacerbating MDA5, but suppressing TLR3 responses:
